Jersey Devil project linework

This is the line drawing I did for the blueprint of my first project in my Digital Painting class in AAU's graduate program.

The digital painting is done but I'm tweaking it with improvement advice given by other students and the professor. Once I'm done with the reworked version I'll post it. The digital painting isn't as cartoony as the line drawing would suggest.

If anyone would like the full size of the line drawing posted to download and paint on top of let me know and I'll post it and make it available for download. Just make sure to credit the pencil work and inking to me.

The illustration is based on the story of the Jersey Devil mythology. It's design was done by the way the creature has been described throughout historical sightings (FYI; I don't believe he exists, but he's still a cool creature) and not the illustrative renderings. He's a gentle monstrous behemoth and just wants some interaction, but whenever he approaches people they just run away screaming.

Used 2B mechanical pencil lead on top of a non-photo blue under-drawing and then inked with a brush pen.
